Patients Rights & Responsibilities

Information for Clinical Audit
To maintain high-quality health care, the practice and other NHS parties will carry out clinical audits on the health information in your records. If you do not wish for your records to be used for anonymous external audits please let us know.
Joint Surgeries
Sometimes our Trainee and Trainer will consult together in a “Joint surgery”. This means that you will consult with one of these doctors. The other doctor is in the room to observe that doctor’s behaviour, and will normally play no part in the consultation.
You will be informed when booking the appointment that it is for joint surgery.
If you wish to see a particular doctor, you may prefer to book a routine appointment with that doctor.
Treatment and Care Review
You may be invited to attend the surgery for a Treatment and Care review with our practice nurse.
Attending for this review will help the practice to ensure you are receiving the best care possible, if you are asked to attend for one of these reviews please make an appointment at a time that suits you with the practice nurse.
Zero Tolerance
The practice operates a zero-tolerance policy. Incidents of violence, abusive or threatening behaviour may be reported to the police and/or result in the parties concerned being removed from the practice list.
