There are many community services available to help with a range of problems e.g pharmacy, optician, practice physiotherapist, practice mental health nurse. E-consult is designed to streamline access for patients to the correct healthcare professional at the right time and this often will not be a GP. E-consult is also designed to help reduce and manage the increasing workload and pressure on gp practices. Many thanks for considering this.
